Midwinter

Welcome to the Winter Solstice.   The time of the year when the night is at it’s longest and the day the shortest.  We are at the darkest time of the year. But in a few days the light will return and start growing again.

This year is something extra special though.  This year our longest darkest night won’t be as dark.  It will be lit up by a full moon.  the last time this happened was in 1967. 49 years ago.

Have a feast, hold your family close and keep warm this long night.  Out of the dark and the cold, light and hope always returns.
