(disclaimer – I don’t think it is a secret this is my favourite celebration)
The darkness is upon us, winter is coming, it is already here is some places. We must embrace and acknowledge the darkness and death just as much as the light. Because without the darkness, here is no light.
This is when we remember and celebrate those who have already passed. We welcome their memories back into our homes and feast with the dead. We celebrate what has been. We accept everything has an end. And we wait for the light to return, hoping we make it to the other side.
